The Desire Check

The Desire Check runs entirely in your browser. Your individual answers are not transmitted to us, not stored by us, and not shared with any advertising platform. If you close the page, they are gone. If you choose to join the waitlist, one further piece of information travels with your name and email: the general category your answers point to (for example, a broad theme like "linked to relationship context") — never the answers behind it. We only receive this if you consent, and it is described fully below.

The waitlist

If you choose to join the waitlist, we collect your first name (optional), email address, and — where the Desire Check was completed first — the general result category described above. Because joining a waitlist for a clinic focused on low sexual desire can reveal something about your health, we treat all of this as special-category data and rely on your explicit consent, which you give by ticking the first box on the form. We use it only to contact you about consultations opening, in the order you joined, and to understand in general terms what kind of support to prioritise. You can withdraw consent and ask us to delete your details at any time by emailing us.

If you also tick the second box, we will send you occasional information about female desire and clinic news, on the basis of your consent. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

Who processes your data

Waitlist details are stored in our customer-relationship system provided by HighLevel Inc (LeadConnector), which processes data on our behalf under contract. We do not currently run analytics on this site.

How long we keep it

Waitlist details are kept until consultations open and you have been contacted, and for no more than 12 months after that unless you become a patient of the clinic that delivers your consultation, whose own privacy notice will then apply.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@desireclinic.co.uk. You can also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
